Patient Safety and Office Sterilization

At Morristown Cosmetic Dentistry, as we reopen, we ask that if you are sick or have been exposed to the coronavirus you call our office to reschedule your appointment. If you have recently traveled, please wait at least 14 days after returning to visit our office. These rules will remain in place until it is no longer a recommendation of the CDC or any local governing bodies. This protocol is put in place to protect all patients and staff. If you require a dental appointment, please contact Dr. Victor Gittleman’s Morristown, NJ, dental office by calling (973) 287-3337.

Arriving for Your Appointment

We will be scheduling patients on a staggered schedule to minimize the number of people in our office at one time. This is also done to allow more time between patients for the ongoing disinfection of all areas in the office. We will be screening all patients upon arrival with temperature checks and a quick questionnaire to determine if there are any risks to our team and other patients.

Please only enter our waiting room when we have contacted you via text or phone call. This method helps avoid exposure to others, potential infection, and maintains social distancing requirements. For any patient needing to be in the waiting room prior to their appointment due to travel arrangements or other reasons, we will have seating spaced apart for safe relaxation.

Staff & Patient Personal Protection

Wearing masks and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are now almost commonplace for many of us as we move about in daily life. Our staff will be wearing appropriate PPE, and we will be requiring patients to wear a mask as they enter and exit our office. This is in accordance with state and federal recommendations and current CDC guidelines. Hand sanitizer will be available and offered to all patients upon entry to minimize the spread of germs on contacted surfaces. Our dentists follow proper handwashing techniques both before and after putting on gloves. Eye protection, including goggles or glasses, is normally required for our staff. We are stepping up this level of protection by providing face masks to every member of our staff.
